The Bellmaker
 The maker of bells, testing
for resonance and carrying-power,
imagines unchanging landscape -
in his calculations
only the shifting winds,
the varying densities
of summer and autumn air.

Dream-perspectives:
hills, angled walls
give back a reassuring music -
bell-sounds, hollowing the night.
